THREE WORLDS (2014)
Galerie LJ, Paris, França
“[...] I never knew there was a tree headed planet. If you are alive now - your name is procrastination. You believed in that strange idea that the future will be solved in the future, now future will boomerang back at our faces and it won't be a primetime TV series [...]” - excerpt of Three Planets Life Style Hymn, of Nova Aparecida installation.
Nova Aparecida is the installation developed in Paris in the end of 2014, which comprises part of the works from Three Worlds series - FVTVRA RVPTVRA, including paintings, installations and actions in the public space, in which Stephan Doitschinoff uses the iconic universe to create the representation of an apocalyptic state, where São Paulo serves as an allegory of the excess of stiffness and control existing in the social behaviour of big cities around the world, such as São Paulo itself, Beijing, Moscow and Mexico City.
