The second edition of “Marcha dos Três Planetas is an unfolding part of the series “Cvlto do Fvtvrv”. The procession started at the square by the Stock Market in and headed to Praça das Artes Theatre thru Vale do Anhangabaú, in the very heart of downtown São Paulo.
VENTRE LIVRE / FREE WOMB ( 2012 )
In “Ventre Livre” (Free Womb), two religious women, connected by their bowels, read a sacred book. During the ritual, the public was invited to share a cake made in the form of human bowels, evoking the symbolism of connection through the visceral organs, and the wisdom originated from the irrational animal spectrum rather than dogmatic laws.
TUDO É VAIDADE / ALL IS VANITY ( 2010 )
All is Vanity is a biblical quote from Ecclesiastes explored the artist in this series of works that include the performance made in São Paulo in 2010. In the action, symbolic elements were organized in a ritualistic manner in order to put into question the vanity which exists in various situations, even in the relationship between people and religious objects, altruistic practices of abnegation and charity.
TEMPORAL ( 2005 – 2008 )
TEMPORAL (2008) documents the research Doitschinoff conducted in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil, regarding religion syncretism, African animism and Brazilian folklore, as well as the site-specific work he created throughout the villages over the course of three years, including the Chapel of Santa Luzia and the Municipal Cemetery of Lençóis.
